That is, to put it mildly, a rosy depiction of life as a slave. Tough to defend.
How is that any different than what Phil Robinson from Duck Dynasty said a few months ago?
He’s not painting a “rosy picture”, he’s simply stating a simple fact...slaves had families, gardens, food.
Like Mr. Robertson said, slaves had God...they were a Godly people because they had faith, yet the left, like Mr. Bundy, have their panties in some serious twists because they think they have their “GOTCHA” moment.
The bigger issue is now going to get buried, an out of control USG willing to destroy a man’s livelihood and do so at the end of a gun barrel...Absolutely sickening.
