Here’s what I don’t understand. If the BLM is laying claim to that land, then it must mean that the BLM already “owns” the land north of the river, and it isn’t part of Oklahoma.

I mean they’re not just saying that, poof, the border changed, and since it can’t possibly mean more real estate for Oklahoma, it’s our job to lay claim to it. Are they?

If that’s the case, I will volunteer to show up with a backhoe and re-re-route the river to it’s original course.

It has been and is reported the Bureau of Land Management is not a government agency, it is a privately owned concern.

If true it changes things.
