Let see. Laws against minors drinking cause them to take drugs. I wonder if laws against robbery cause the robbers to commit murder? In general, the vermin like the author of this article want unlimited boy-boy, girl-girl,boy-girl sex in public. They want unlimited public drunkenness whether by alcohol, or drugs, no work, free "things".

The argument used by the author is so stupid that it probably originated with the White House; i.e. since a law does not work 100% repeal it. Genius sheer genius!

I believe it’s called unintended consequences.
Some people are going to get high however they can. The recent crackdown on prescription drugs has resulted in an increase in heroin use because it is now cheaper and easier to get than oxycodone.

i.e. since a law does not work 100% repeal it.

Prohibition was not only a law but a constitutional amendment, and it wasn't even close to 100% working, and it was repealed.

And it did cause many otherwise law abiding citizens to commit crimes such as frequenting speakeasys and making bathtub gin. And it occurred at all levels of society.
