American freedom and courage. They are picking up. Good.

I confess I don’t understand how Brownback and Sebelius can somehow share Kansas. It makes no sense.
“But Melissa Wangemann, legal counsel for the Kansas Association of Counties, believes the law “shows a lack of trust in local elected officials.”
Melissa, is it a “lack of trust” that Kansas doesn’t allow cities and states to set their own rules regarding First Amendment rights?
You watch, some liberal judge is going to say the law
is unconstitutional.
What, Kansas returning to its senses? About time. Grew up there and in those days many, many pickups had rifles in rifle racks. Amazingly, they were ‘t locked up either. Indeed, when I went into the Army, my Dad threw my .22 rifle into the bed of his pickup in case he ever needed it. When I got out, it was still there, a rusted useless hulk by then. Yes, I was irritated, but the point is no one batted an eye, not even thieves, for two whole years while it rusted away in easy reach in one of the largest towns in Kansas. Those were the good old days. Looks like they’re coming back. Yea!
HOORAY Governor Brownback!
Essentially, the Kansas law parallels current Virginia law, making Kansas a "shall issue" state. For those of you in Virginia, you may thank the Virginia Citizens Defense League at your leisure. :-D
It’s articles like this that give me some hope for America. Seems I read weekly that a city, county, or state is relaxing its gun regulations. Never thought I would see Chicago go “shall issue”. Of course, then you have New York and Connecticut, and a few others. Surprised that the ultra-liberal state of California still can’t get registration passed.
(P)Not sure if it’s all the massacres of late or Obama or Fedgov para-military buildup or all the above. Just glad that people, especially women, are realizing that self-defense is THE first inherent right.
Wangemann also said this law means her counties "can't enact any regulation," nor can they tell gun owners, "Keep your safety on, keep the gun on your side, don't lay it on your desk."
IOW's Wangemann wants to TELL you what to do. When to do it...and, How to do it!!
Screw you Wangemann!!!
