My kids private school has done this. I think it’s good! The kids get lots more homework than I did as a kid. I rarely had homework.
It’s been a struggle for my kids to do homework every night, especially when they get sick.
I also like the idea of retaking tests. I’d rather a kid learn the material and be prepared for finals.
I think the only tests they can’t retake are the semester finals.
This seems like a lot more work for the teachers—not less.
