The Blaze radio host Glenn Beck revealed on Monday that he deeply regrets giving Mitt Romney the gift he gave him when the former Massachusetts governor ran for president. Beck revealed that he gave Romney a rare, first-edition copy of President George Washington‘s farewell address for which he never even received a thank you.
“I was trying to cement in his mind, ‘You have run an honorable race,’” Beck said said, explaining the rationale behind the gift. “‘I don’t agree with you on everything. But please understand the time that we’re in, and if you win, you have to be George Washington.’”
Beck said that the farewell address lists everything that he believes is “wrong with the country” right now. He said he gave the copy to Romney’s son explaining that this was his personal copy.
“They’re really rare and expensive, and I never even got a thank-you note,” Beck said, shaking his head. “Never even got a thank-you note. Pisses me off to this day.”

Serves him right, if he thought that Mitt, who pioneered gay marriage, taxpayer funded abortion, and government healthcare, would ever be even slightly conservative.

I guess ‘ole Glenn Beck is not unlike any lobbyist in DC...He expects something in return for his gifts. What a jerk.
I still have found no one when he was on Fox news that predicted more accurately what this man predicted and showed Obamas ties pictorially and with as much accuracy than this man. He does have his imperfections but most of the time he is spot on and the only person in the media daily when with Fox News to say who Obama really was where the people would “get it”

MO: Beck’s sentiments are representative of a lot of people. People who don’t need meetings, thinks tanks nor the media, and are a lot more numerous than the 3 mil conservatives who would not vote for Romney and will not vote for his replacement in 2016

Yes, but not sending a thank you is just rude, I don’t care if he sent him a comic book. I’m surprised that Ann didnt do something about this. Maybe she didnt know about it or isn’t as classy as I thought.
I read another article that said Ann Romney was photographed reading the book.
As of late?!? He has been teetering on the edge for the past 6 years since his involvement in the 9/12 project and he began garnering the full onslaught of liberal hatred in '08.
His inflated sense of importance is sickening. I know that I can only take him in small doses now. I got really fed up with his preaching and on-air crying jigs a long time ago.
I guess i just wish Beck would either go full blown conservative or liberal because there are times when you’re not sure. I guess being more consistent with the facts and less melodramatic is what I’d prefer.
