In both places, government employed people out of proportion to the national rate of 14.9 percent. In Falls Church, a suburb less than 10 miles south of Washington, D.C., 31.3 percent of the people with jobs worked for government. In Wilcox County, it was 25.4 percent.

Well Falls Church is obviously doing other things to attract companies to their county. They still have another 69 percent that is private sector. And if 31 percent is the highest in the nation then the private sector is winning everywhere. Why not do a story on, “Private Sector has more money than government agencies”....because that would be the truth and nobody wants to hear that.

Well, my goodness. We really need to do something about that. We must quickly, and vastly, increase the compensation given to government employees.

But seriously, you do realize that MANY of the “private sector” employers in these government ruling class enclaves are actually living VERY WELL off of government contracts? And the massive wealth they are nosily wolfing down from the trough is government money extracted from taxpayers.

The "Private sector" in Falls Church is likely full of Gov't contractors.

Not officially Gov't employees but receiving oodles of taxpayer money.
