I’m sure they’ll wrap this up in the guise of a compassionate righting of wrongs for unjustified length of sentences for non-violent offenders. Some lefties will buy it.
But millions of low information voters are just going to hear that Obama is emptying the prisons of his buddies in crime AND WILL BE INFURIATED AND COME OUT TO VOTE.

The worst part is that he is rewriting the law. Illegally. However bad the people are that he will be setting free things will be worse for the destruction of the rule of law he’s engaged in.
