Police: 2 men shot outside National Zoo

D.C. Police Commander Michael Reese says a large group of 30 to 50 people were walking southbound on Connecticut Avenue and a person in the group produced a handgun and fired several rounds.

A police source tells FOX 5 some of the people in the group were inside the zoo and some of them never went inside. The source also says investigators are looking at a possible grudge between two neighborhood groups as a motive for the violence.

The man who was shot in the hand may have shot himself accidentally and was not cooperating with detectives, according to the police source.

Reese says police do not have a suspect description at this time and are asking for anyone who witnessed or have any information about the shooting to contact police. Police say they have not recovered the gun that was used in the shooting.

So no one knows nothing about nothing but I'm sure it's the NRA's fault.

“Groups”? Are you sure you don’t mean gangs? Those are the only type of “neighborhood groups” that do this sort of thing. The Chamber of Crony Capitalists doesn’t.
