Several hundred delegates of the Nevada Republican Party approved a party platform April 19 that drops both its pro-life plank and support for the definition of marriage as a union of one man and one woman.
Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he thought the party platform was about inclusion, not exclusion.
This is where the party is going, he said.

So in Nevada they have democrats and democrat lite, but no Conservative party?
Hitler’s birthday. Makes sense.
Hell in a hand basket.
ALL good conservatives will stop voting for the GOP.
“This is where the party is going”.
Ronald Reagan had it right. Freedom can be lost in a generation.
When is the sleeping giant (the church) going to arise and take back America?
Not a good move by the Republican party.
Strange times.
Here is MA, moved to restore pro-life/pro-family back into party platform.
[nothing to get too excited about, as we have a leftist running for gov]
The Republican Party did not leave them, they left the Republican Party.
That 'Party' is on the Highway to Hell.
They may as well stick with Harry Reid, then.
It hasn’t stopped a lot of Catholics from voting for democrats.
I simply can’t in good conscience vote for another republican.
Not only has Nevada taken this stance, so has “Club for Growth”
On Club for Growth website:
“Does the Club for Growth PAC look at social issues when considering a candidate endorsement?
No, our focus is only on economic issues. A candidates stance on social issues does not impact the Clubs PACs decision in whether or not to make an endorsement.”
Welcome to libertarianism.
Rand Paul:
“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul advised. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who dont want to be festooned by those issues.”
Most of Nevada (not all) ultimately depends on decadence to earn a living. Approximately one out of six women between the ages of 18-60 are prostitutes. It is the home state of Harry Reid. Corruption is endemic. The local Republican Party nevertheless is making a huge mistake.
Someday these idiots will understand that with them running there’s no reason not to vote for a democrat.
It was once the Grand Old Party.
Adios Amigos! Tell your 'RAT comrades I said that they're not going to get my guns when you get there.
