I wrote in another thread yesterday how incredibly elitist NYC is. How the very rich, the politicians, the celebrities all are given licenses to carry. For example people like Robert De Niro, Howard Stern, Donald Trump are all allowed to carry guns, but some guy running a 24 hour convenience store in the Bronx can only use a butter knife to defend himself when he gets robbed which means he gets killed. All these rich people can afford 24 an hour armed guards yet they get a license to carry? So in other words Howard Stern who is chauffeured to his radio station then back to his multi-million dollar doorman guarded high rise condo on the upper West side has a more dangerous job than a guy who runs a store or gas station in a bad neighborhood. What an elitist crock of BS.

With gun control laws, only the rich, celebrities and the politically connected can have the privilege of defending themselves. Every one else is effectively SOL and if they have to die, its for the greater good.
