Even when you control for income–comparing white and black families in the same income range–white families are three times wealthier than black families. The racial wealth disparities hold up and down the income ladder.

From which one might be tempted to believe that blacks are less thrifty than whites. And one would be correct. But, thrift is a white concept. Blacks embrace "redistribution", a tawdry euphemism for theft. Not only are blacks less thrifty, they do not take as much advantage of educational and professional opportunities, do not work as hard, do not save as much. No problem. Obama and Holder got they's back.

Anecdotal but I knew a guy who was a civilian employee of Boston PD. He said that for promotional sergeants exams etc the blacks would not hit the books. They had other priorities. This is how some of the claims that these exams are "racist" originate.

It’s because for urban blacks, if they do all that stuff you mentioned, they will get ripped by other blacks for being “too white”. And they are scared of being called that. They like being part of the crowd that hates whitey and beats up on whitey. If they are too much like whitey they might become a target too.
