Grandview is an upper-middle class community.

Umm, maybe at one time, but not in the 39 years we've lived in the Kansas City area. We were advised to stay out of Grandview then, and it is still good advice.

That would put much of the metro area off limits for discerning folks then. I lived on each side of K.C. proper to be closer to work in the past, much less than 39 years ago. And yes, I'll admit it. We laughed at those who continued driving on flat tires. [And I'm white.]
