if the people that went up on a Sherpa's back are disabled and can't do it, those people are not scumbags.

Of course they are, if they can't make it up there on their own then they have no business being up there in the first place.........The only kudos that should be given out are to the Sherpas who have to carry these leaches - at their own peril......

I have some close people in my life who are disabled. If they wanted to see the top of Mt. Everest and I was physically able to carry them up to it. I would do it in a heartbeat. When someone you love very dearly has become severely disabled, you'd do anything for them to take away their pain. Trust me on that.
