Why should it be your last post? Please enlighten me. How did you come about your beliefs? A book?
Post-modernist thought does not enlighten; it merely introduces more darkness. God is light and in Him is no darkness. Inside every sinner is darkness and, until Christ, who is our light (indeed the light of the world) comes in, there can be no light.
The unregenerate mind fancies itself to have all understanding. It has the finite understanding of this world only...and this world is passing away...and the lusts thereof.
>> “Why should it be your last post?”
Please see the last sentence in item 3 of my #892. People who do not resonate with what I posted can simply ignore them, only those who feel a need to blindly defend their religion see the need to resort to ad hominems.
God does not need us to worship Him, which is another Bible concept. Taking care of our earthly affairs is much more important than to constantly praise or worship Him. When we attribute every good thing that happened to us to God, we are inadvertently making things even more difficult for those who see nothing but hardship in their lives. Think about it: For every case of cancer that is cured, there are at least 100, if not many more, that are not. Are we saying God loves some of us more than others?
The book Holy Blood, Holy Grail is not about God. It merely looks at the circumstances of a possible major secret concerning Jesus.
Now I really must move on. Best to you.
