A website called Now The End Begins has compiled 40 comments by Barack Obama on Christianity and Islam. Collectively, they create quite an interesting picture. I admit that there may be instances of the president speaking as favorably of Christianity as he does of Islam, but I am not aware of them. I do remember in the 2008 campaign that he said he had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and that was in response to public awareness of his attendance at Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church, Trinity United. What the president left unsaid is the nature of Jesus as understood in Black Liberation Theology. But that is a discussion for another time.

Sounds to me like pandering to the enemies of God and America.
The president has said that he was attracted to Christianity by such tenets as our being our brother’s keeper and our sister’s keeper.
For him to use a completely misunderstood and misinterpreted Bible story as his reasoning behind accepting Christ, just shows how he completely lacks understanding of Christianity.
Is there a positive statement in that list regarding Christianity? I didn’t notice a single one. Yet, all of the Islam references were positive in tone.

any journalist willing to face down this RUBE with a challenge to defend and expand upon these inane statements hes made about tolerant islam...would deserve our undying gratitude!!

President Barack Obama is not now, nor has he ever been a Christian. Attending Rev. Jeremiah Wrights’s hate-filled church, is not an example of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

You can believe he’s going to get a better understanding of it, when he stands before our Lord and is told “Depart from me, I never knew you.”
Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
Funny thing is that in the same article Kristof asserts that Obama speaks Indonesian, but later on in the campaign Obama (in one of his faux self deprecating comments) stated . “I don’t speak a foreign language. It’s embarrassing!”
Re: muslims ‘shaping’ America
IIRC, the primary reason for establishing the US Marine Corps was to defeat the Barbary pirates who were muslims. Gotta give credit where due. :=)

Look. It’s obvious that the man hates anything Christian or Jewish, and loves the members of the middle eastern death cult.
It has the same tone as the “allihu ackbars” that the jihadists recite...INTONE...when they are beheading someone, as far as I am concerned.
