This week, Australian justice Michael Kirby, who led the U.N. Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in North Korea, is briefing members of the U.N. Security Council regarding the widespread atrocities being committed on a daily basis against innocent people by one of the worlds most repressive regimes.
Given Russias recent actions in Ukraine and other global challenges, the report of this U.N. commission has not received the attention it deserves.

DPRK should be viewed as China’s problem. China is very unhappy with the Kim regime, but they do not want to give any openings to the Americans or Japanese, so are not breaking publicly.
Kim Jong On for his part is probably much more worried about a coup from pro-China elements in his military than he ever will be about America.
I have wondered why China just doesn’t take n korea over...but probably they have their hands full with enough “needy” people? N korea is like watching Hitler and it just really bothers me
NK is what the Chinese military (who actually run things in the PRC) would like to be. They are just as ruthless.
