Marijuana is not an hallucinogen.
You want some of my glucose? I'm having the opposite problem.
The drugs (and even the insulin) aren't working very well anymore.
Nope.
I’m dreading the day the hypo flips to hyper.
Diabetes runs in my family.
Doing my level best to head it off.
Chromium levels sugar.
Couldn’t hurt to try.
Otherwise, you’re in my thoughts and prayers.
every libard will tell you that weed is much much better than alcohol and the tax man will love the new income....
Too bad the 10000 people killed by drunk drivers in 2010 didn’t think of that ....
I'd bet that most of all our alcohol related accidents also have an element of pot in the mix...except they don't check for it...
this whole thread reminds me of the killer dog threads where we’ll have swarms of believers coming out to defend dangerous breeds because they’re all “good” dogs...this despite numerous attacks on babies and small children and adults as well..
thank God, thank God, thank God he was able to get out of that situation....but he did get way behind in college and money matters and it still affects him to this day...
now of course, he's a great father of two with a wonderful educated wife and nearing the end of his masters at the UW...
“Per the people who have heard the 911 call he was still eating it while the wife was on the phone with 911.”
Well, edible pot takes MINIMUM 30 minutes to begin taking effect. Up to 90 minutes for some people.
Maybe the guy wanted to kill his wife and make it look like a psychotic episode by acting while she held the phone. Spouse murder happens fairly often and this would be a good trick to get away with it. He could probably even get life insurance and sue the pot store.
Here’s more. http://news.yahoo.com/police-man-ate-pot-candy-shooting-wife-214528099.html;_ylt=AwrBJSAQU1BTNUUAFZPQtDMD
No reporting on how long before the shooting he ate it.
We will know with more certainty after the trial, as pot is going to be on center stage, as it will for the kid who jumped off a balcony.

Lots of people with mental or emotional issues use pot to try and balance things out - some with success and for some it is a disaster waiting to happen. It may be the user that is the problem and the dope exacerbates that problem.
There is a comedian here in Australia and he tells the story that he tried dope once as a young man and it sent him into a psychotic episode. Crazily enough he let himself get talked into having another smoke over 10 years later and it sent him into such a spin that he became delusional and depressed for years. Just like people react differently to Pharma medications so they react differently to non-pharma and lets face it at least you know what you are getting when you buy a Pharma med - what are they growing some of these hydro plants with and how is that affecting the efficacy of the product?
It’s probably fair to say that dope does not cause hallucinogenic results in the far majority of people but to say it flat out cannot happen sounds more like personal denial than true life experience.
My personal hope is that far more research into the use of cannabis in the field of medicine might indeed find it to be a wonder drug but we need to be scientific about it and it’s use!
