The fact that Bundy began resisting federal oppression twenty years ago does not make his resistance any less important as the jack booted thugs attack his family and ranch.

Alot of the times with riots, people come out and loot just to steal a TV and run amuck, having no idea what the original protest was about.

I used to put up with the stuff I didn’t like for the things I did. But he came out today and called himself a pacifist. That tells me what I need to know. You can’t claim to love and support the founders and then condemn their methods. Glenn says he would not support violence unless God told him to do so. So divine manifestation is the standard now to take up arms?
I’m also sick of his MLK and Gandhi worship. You can’t talk to me about loving freedom and independence, and then turn around every five seconds and fall all over yourself to kiss the rear end of a socialist. Beck gives lip service to the founders, but then anytime the question of how to deal with adversity comes up, its not what would Washington or Jefferson do...its what would MLK or Gandhi do.
One last thing. He tried to make the argument today that violence is not justified because we have “representation” and because the founders were more long suffering before they revolted with arms. Glenn, to the representation point, what the hell do you think immigration is all about? They want to flood the ballot box with 20 million Mexicans,and 3 times that many welfare recipients,making your vote worthless. As to the founders and the time frame, technology is moving far faster than it did then. they could suffer for 20 years and then revolt because they still had the means. If we wait that long, we wont have the guns to do it with or the freedom to organize. You can’t live on a 1776 time frame anymore.
Bundy did act as his own lawyer and failed to introduce any evidence. He also allowed all his appeal deadlines to lapse.
That said, once we have the REAL facts then we can 1. see if missing deadlines was excusable and 2. see if there was judicial abuse of discretion and 3. any prosecutorial misconduct (lol on the last one)
Let us not forget range wars were bloody and very emotional. (see sheephearders vs cows, farmers vs cows)
Beck could not be more wrong.
What facts Beck? What laws? Laws that change with impunity with no recourse? Ignoring existing laws in favor of bureaucratic mood swings?
Besides, the Occupy idiots broke dozens and dozens of laws and violated private propery rights and practically NONE were arrested much less forced to face dozens and dozens of ARMED federal agents.
So Beck, are laws only enforced with political will? Are they to be ignored if they don’t fit into the political left wing agenda?
There is plenty of evidence Bundy was grandfathered under the land use laws and he simply doesn’t respect or comply with changes made by Clinton in the 90’s with no Congressional oversight.
Beck, I’d think you’d be more concerned with the massive and overuse of force versus what the left gets away with. SEIU invade private property of a bank head and harrass his children? No problem.
Don’t pay an arbitrary federal grazing fee directly to the U.S. Treasury (he pays the state and county as the law was written)? Send in the heavily armed paramilitary thugs.
Everyone can do all the Beck bashing they want but what I find highly disturbing is the lack of coverage this Nevada stand down got. I was watching Megan Kelly last night and she had Dennis Lynch, a documentary filmmaker, on her show and he said the only news media covering it was Fox News. I can’t stomach watching ABC, NBC or CBS but when I went to their news websites I could only find a story about it on CBS and the impression I got from that was a law-breaking, freeloader who won’t pay his fees. Oh yeah, and Clive Bundy is causing all these wild horses to die because he’s overgrazing the land. From the article.....

So for the moment, while Glenn Beck is urging caution, I think I agree. As long as you have the major news doing a blackout on this story and/or propagandizing it, a lot of people could have died and it would have been swept neatly under the rug just like every thing else during this administration. It seems that only Fox News is covering it properly and people hate them just like people hate Glenn Beck.
