The delegates to any convention today could not even understand each other, linguistically and culturally.

Actually, the majority of the delegates to the Convention of States would understand each other perfectly, because they would be there for exactly the same reasons: to propose amendments to the United States Constitution that impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, that limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and that limit the terms of office for its officials and for members of Congress.

That's it... what's so hard to understand about that?

I'll stand by what I said. Already in California Spanish signs are now put up by merchants. Soon the English signs will be taken down. Law enforcement on the streets is now largely Mexican.

Bottom line a constitutional convention in America 2014 A.D. is a bad idea. We ain't got George Washington no mo'
