Tom Marr is right, there shouldn’t be a “Hate Crime” it is clear 1st degree premeditated murder, 3 counts and 2 additional counts of Premeditated attempted murder.

“Hate Crime” is the Politicization of Justice and it is an anathema of Impartial Justice despite being enacted for the best of intentions.

Then stick his butt in old sparky, keep the sponge dry and leave the lever down until what is left of his charred carcass stops moving....

If I'm ever on a jury where a "hate crime" charge is in play I'll vote "not guilty" because I don't accept the basic validity of a such a charge. However, any other charges that might be in play in that same trial...murder...attempted murder...assault,etc will get my full attention and I'll vote solely on the weight of the evidence. Not on the race/gender/ethnicity/religion of the defendant *or* the victim(s).

Hell,I can easily vote "guilty" for a white,Irish,Catholic guy (like myself) accused of killing a black transgendered lesbian atheist...if the evidence supports the charge.I can easily vote for that same guy to get the hot shot,too...again,according to the evidence.
