The problem I have with this being called a “hate crime” is he hated Jews but killed Methodists and a Catholic. If he is found guilty of a hate crime, in this case, no one is safe because a persons “hate” won’t have to be related to the actual crime.
We need to get rid of the term “hate crime” and simply punish the crime.
Agree. “Hate” only pertains to the motive. It doesn’t make murder any more or less a crime.
Especially since it’s all one-sided anyway.
