Bear with me-having to work and lurk today-can’t listen. Has Rush commented on the Bundy standoff last weekend? I would be interested in hearing his take on it. I was hoping TGO would have commented on it more than he did last friday. Sometimes I wonder if talk radio guys aren’t a bit skittish talking about near revolt behavior by American citizens.
I don’t care if Glenn Miller has a rowsing rendition of Kalamazoo, he deserves the maximum the state can offer. I know for a spell of time in Kansas in the ‘90s, they didn’t even have anyone on death row.

Though I knew Joe Pyne solely from his TV show he was a very popular nationally syndicated radio conservative a few years before that.. though I've heard some say he was "too pro union". He was a W.W.II Marine and IIRC lost one of his legs in combat.
Following the assassination of JFK the liberals, IMO lead by James "Scotty" Reston of the NY Times, railed against conservatives' "climate of hate" and were largely responsible for Oswald's acts.
The liberals managed to blame Pyne for much of the "climate of hate" and demanded that he be removed from radio. He was.
I don’t have the luxury of listening during the morning anymore. I hope a summary update of how he addressed this follows...

I couldn’t believe it; it was like it didn’t happen. My local radio station didn’t even bring it up, save for a FoxRadio ‘blurb’ about the ‘Feds blinking’ (their words, not mine).
