House Speaker John Boehners tea party primary opponent J.D. Winteregg is releasing a new parody ad Monday accusing Boehner of Electile Dysfunction.
WATCH THE NEW AD HERE
If you have a Boehner lasting more than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention, according to the online ad, which seeks to nationalize Wintereggs fundraising ahead of the May 6 Ohio eighth district Republican primary. (RELATED: TheDC Interview with J.D. Winteregg)
The intent [with the ad] is to nationalize this thing. Hes everyones speaker. Hes my representative, yeah, but hes Americas speaker. We want to get my name out there and tell people theres an alternative, Winteregg told The Daily Caller Sunday night, outlining a two-pronged approach that includes a fierce ground game in his district and also a national fundraising campaign. Its a strategy, according to his veteran Republican campaign consultants, that worked for Scott Brown in 2010, as the unknown tea party favorite mixed district door-knocking with a national drive to provide the forty-first vote in the Senate to block Obamacare.
Winteregg, 32, needs between 40,000 and 50,000 votes to defeat Boehner in next months primary, which is expected to draw about 85,000 Republican voters. Boehner is now paying workers to go door-to-door disseminating information, including some targeting Winteregg. The underdog gained traction after an endorsement from the Tea Party Leadership Fund PAC, which found that only 25 percent of Boehners own Ohio constituents still support him when hes paired against any no-name challenger.

I give up.
Cute.
Good. It’s the right thing to do. Since I’m right and the facts show it.
There is a Freeper running against Bonehead. Vote for him. If he loses, so be it. But Dammit TRY.
Looks like the majority on this thread disagree with you.

See post #64. I pinged him.
At the end of the day, the red state of Kentucky will decide what they think of the commercial when they vote. I will certainly be interested to see how the good folks in conservative state of Kentucky will think about the commercial on May 20th. Those voters are the ones who matter.
Why are the Kentucky voters the ones who matter regarding this commercial? John Boehner is from Ohio. How can KY vote John Boehner out?
And, may I add, the GOP needs to start finding “Independent” and “Green Party” candidates for every election and every race, to take votes from the Dems. They have no problem running a “propped up” Libertarian in close races to pull votes from the GOP candidate, causing the Conservative to lose. The Virginia Governor’s race comes to mind.
I agree with your idea 100%. It drives me nuts when a Dem wins with a “Clintonian plurality” because they have funded a Libertarian to take 5% of the votes.
And "bainer" is exactly how the name is pronounced in the ad. I'm guessing you didn't watch it.
Then you guess wrong.
I don’t think the ad will be effective. It smells too much like it was done by a child.
I don’t give a damn who disagrees with me.
