At the levels they want, I suspect that interrupting that much sunshine from impacting the earth, and bleeding off wind currents will actually have a chance of screwing up the earth (at least locally around the installations).
I live in a valley, just three miles north of Wiesbaden, Germany, with a fair-sized hill behind me. It’s come up that the windmill folks would like to put up a couple of windmills on this ridgeline of the hill. Oddly enough, this has gotten the entire city council of Wiesbaden (mostly all liberals)....all hyped up and angry. This would disturb the natural look of the hills overlooking the city.
Adding to the fight, the city has taken up this UNESCO-identified world-site status application. To fit into the ‘spa-category’ (yeah there is such a lofty status)....you need to stay pure, in terms of scenery and views. So they are using this angle to further the fight against the windmill guys.
You can’t find any significant city in Germany today that readily accepts the windmills. As long as you build them out in the far rural areas...it’s ok. Beyond that....it’s a fight. Well...to get the right wind currents and make a 365-day-a-year sustainable profit...you have to build on ridgelines.
Bottom line? All of the socialists who call for global warming comments....fighting the windmills.
