Its a reaction to Wednesdays Ft. Hood shooting from a military parent, examining how the Brady Law has failed in its 20 years, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
After hearing about the most recent attack at Ft. Hood on April 2nd, John Lott, of the Crime Prevention Research Center, (http://crimepreventionresearchcenter.org/ ), wrote an article about how he feels soldiers should be allowed to be armed on military bases. Lott stops by this week to discuss his experience as a parent of a Ft. Hood soldier his son is currently stationed there. Read the article here: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/04/03/fort-hood-attack-my-son-our-soldiers-are-defenseless-sitting-ducks/, and read more from John at Fox News, or at his website, (http://johnrlott.blogspot.com/)
Jeff Knox of The Firearms Coalition, (http://firearmscoalition.org/) recently wrote an article about the 20th Anniversary of the passage of the Brady Law - background checks at gun shops arguing that the last twenty years have actually been a failure, and not a success, and the Brady Campaign claims. He visits on Sunday to discuss this, and more of the latest news. Read his article here: http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/twenty-years-brady-law-failure.

My neighbor’s got one; it’s a really nice piece. He was PO’d about the cost of ammo, but that was around the Sandy Hook era. He and wife are due back from FL, next month. Snowbirds.

I know nothing of enfields other than the bolt works like butter.
I found out this week that the magazines are a bit fussy.
Now we know, and are good to go.

Howdy, we need to butter up your wife to make peach cobbler at the next shoot.
You think she would be willing?
