I have a hard time feeling sorry for the “big hotel maid” working for slave wages, who, in turn, depress wages for the rest of us. Let these businesses start hiring Americans or LEGAL immigrants who need the job more, and penalize them for aiding and abetting criminals.
Let them fix their own damn country.
Exactly right. We have MILLIONS of natives out of work, and millions of illegals taking jobs away from us. Do the math— with them gone, unemployment would nosedive in 3 minutes. For that matter, if a huge blood-moon earthquake hit Washington and swallowed the entire government whole into a crater, the entire country would be turned into Disneyland in about 3 minutes. Imagine the joy and the dancing.
Today I had lunch at a fast-food place with a “This Employer Complies with E-Verify” sign posted in the window. I was waited on by Americans.
I enjoyed my lunch.
