Also the detail that Serbia invaded an independent Kosovo which, along with several other regions, had broken with the communists in Belgrade years before.
There is no comparison with Kosovo except for the most simple-minded reductionists.

That is such a false statement it amounts to an obscenity, because the Serbs had murdered thousands of people in a genocidal rampage of ethnic cleansing before Clinton could be moved to act and approach the United Nations. The whole genocidal fiasco in the SFRY was instigated by the Serbs and backed by Russia.
