I have friends in that area. Ond day, napping ont the couch when a bear walked through the pool screen and intro the living room. My friend was “sniffed” awake and about shite him self.
The bear freaked too and ran deeper into the house.
It was a mess.
They think he smelled the BBQ grill by the pool used the previous day.
Nobody hurt thank goodness.

On a road trip from Vero Beach to Miami back when I went to school there we stopped on the side of the interstate to drain off some beer. As we were draining said beer in the bushes along the side of the road, we noticed we were doing so on a gigantic log that began to move. We were relieving ourselves on an alligator. He had to be twelve feet long and as big around as a garbage can.

Talk about going pee shy.............

There are big and nasty things in the state of Florida. Yankee voters are the least of them.
