Some groups and individuals in Kansas (especially eastern) want to blame Jewish people for their problems. Yes, I checked it out. And yes, I lived there for years and saw the underbelly of ethnic politics, demographics and the like up close. There's much of the same in CO and elsewhere, too. Some cultural problems only partially go away after a couple of generations.
And yes, the fascists and Germany and Italy were socialists, as were their political opponents. With so many from parts of Europe having moved to the States for over a 100 years and into politics, business, etc., we're seeing that in politics here (very few real American conservatives, i.e, the disenfranchisement of old fashioned Americans). It is their kind who are over-represented in politics today--not those they like to point fingers at.
