My personal belief, and that is all it is, just an explanation that fits the evidence we do know, is that Obama CLEARLY has citizenship issues, and if his bio dad is Obama Sr, which it probably is because you can see resemblances that are fairly strong with those half brothers, his mom must have given birth outside the USA or he would have been a citizen, no need to fake it or steal SS numbers etc. So Occam’s razor dictates that she gave birth outside our borders.
There is no evidence she lived with Obama ever, or even were much of a couple. And this was 1961. Getting knocked up at 17 was bad all around. A white girl getting knocked up with a married black man’s baby was even too edgy for the communist Dunhams. Especially TW Grandma. They probably sent her where all her high school classmates went when they got knocked up. To the unwed mothers’ homes over the border and a skip away from her Seattle school, in Vancouver, Canada.
The baby was to be given up for adoption and Stanley Ann was to come back from her “vacation” and continue studying in Hawaii. She must have changed her mind and decided to keep him. Thus she shows up in Seattle with a newborn she doesn’t know how to care for, and starts attending college there.
Having never thought about keeping him, the family didn’t realize that laws were such that Stanley Ann’s baby would not be a citizen of America, Stanley being too young to confer it.
There is no reason, no logic, no connection to Obama Sr having taken her to Kenya. She was a young teen, that’s a long trip, and he had a wife and kids there. I do not think Madelyn Dunham would have permitted that.
Your interpretation of the events is shared by some others on this site that I profoundly respect. The one thing it doesn’t explain are the persistent rumors that swirl like the smoke of a prairie fire around Obama and have since Day One. You know the saying; where there’s that much smoke, etc.
Otoh, your explanation checks one critical box. The CCP discovered that the record of foreign arrivals to HI had been removed. Removed, that is, for the week containing Aug. 4, 1961, and only that week.
Your narrative explains that redaction very neatly. Granny Dunham traveled to Canada for the birth of her only daughter’s first child. That would not have been unusual for that day and age. It would also explain how SAD got to Seattle sans knowledge of diaper changing; Maddy had done it up till then.
Of course Obama’s HI narrative could not survive a record of Maddy returning to HI from CA the very wk of Obama’s supposed birth. [Personally I believe he was born in the third wk of July, ‘61. No sane, sentient adult confuses their own B-Day, especially as the big 5-O rolls around. Obama slipped up a couple of yrs ago and mentioned his real B-Day. No other explanation, short of senility.] So the redaction the National Archives, highly illegal though it was, necessarily occurred.
Anyway, I have to run so that’s it for me for the time being. If I didn’t believe the Kenyan narrative, I’d go w Canada. As I said, it does check a highly critical box.
The problem with the Canadian birth is why register the birth in Hawaii?
The current Washington law RCW 70.58.080(6) reads “If there is no attending physician or midwife, the father or mother of the child, householder or owner of the premises, manager or superintendent of the public or private institution in which the birth occurred, shall notify the local registrar, within ten days after the birth, of the fact of the birth, and the local registrar shall secure the necessary information and signature to make a proper certificate of birth.”

So why not register him in Washington? They would have the baby and family friends and relatives to verify the birth.
