But that’s the paradox. Try to take over the country and watch your tax base go to crap. Suddenly you won’t have billions to spend anymore. Holes will develop, lines get thin, equipment will get captured and commandeered.
Understand, in the end it’s not about martial law. That is a feint. The goal is to break up the U.S., not keep it whole. Part of that includes foreign occupation, part of that states breaking away, and part a rump federal govt, none with the power to completely win over the other, therefore all remain weak.
