For the most part I agree with you. But is this any different than donning a yarmulke if you go to speak at a Synagogue? Perhaps she was just trying to not offend them.

I would not shy from picking a fight with Muslims, but I prefer it be over something substantive.

95% of the women in Egypt have had this done to them. It is a bestial practice.
