Obviously the victims' fault. They should have know better than run from the guy trying to kill them to the police (who actually were successful in killing one of them.)
When I first heard this story I wanted to support the police. It could have been confusion in a fast moving incident.
They shot the hostage in their zeal to shoot the unarmed guy behind the hostage. They shot two unarmed people for the simple act of ‘running at the police’.
Afterwards the chief defended their actions. He didn’t say “we’re investigating”, he said the two unarmed people “aggressed” the police.
