EVASTOPOL, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Lawmakers of the Legislative Assembly of the Russian Federal City Of Sevastopol, long-standing home base of Russias Black Sea naval fleet on the Crimean peninsula, have endorsed a new city charter on Friday. Sixty deputies voted for the decision and seven lawmakers did not participate in the voting.
A city draft charter was offered by acting Sevastopol Governor Aleksei Chaliy. It has passed an expertise in the Russian Justice Ministry before.
The St. Petersburg charter was taken as a basis of the charter of Sevastopol.
