Nope. As Nancy famously said, “you can find out what’s in it after we pass it.”
That’s why they like big bills—plausible deniability for what they vote for.
Nancy and Harry knew it was in there. It did not matter if anyone read the bill or not. Dem House, Dem Senate.
Bush vetoed the bill. Didn’t matter.
