Totally agree. It has been spread around to the point every pinhead type that believes in global warming believes in EMP because they read it on the Internet.

You could not be more misinformed. EMP is not remotely similar to the global warming warnings.
I’ve worked on the effects of nuclear weapons under DOD contract, with a high-level security clearance. Many other FReepers are even better qualified than am I, and you can take their word that EMP is a real and extremely serious threat.
