A deal has been reached between Israeli and Palestinian negotiators to extend US-brokered peace talks, according to Middle Eastern news outlet Al-Arabiya.
As part of the deal, Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard is to be freed from his 27-year detention in the US while the contentious fourth set of Palestinian prisoners are to be released.

Every computer in Langley is now booted up with guys typing their resignation letters.
Unbelievable treachery to release this guy.
why the frig do we have to release someone for something that involves two other countries. friggin retards.
Unreal.
This SOB should have been hung for treason.
Because that’s what Israel wants.
A lose-lose proposition that only a Zero could come up with
Obama, yet again bowing to foreign interests.
Every administration bows to this foreign interest.
Huge mistake to release Pollard.
Somebody wiser than I wrote this comment a while ago about negotiating, and I like it: “Trade words for words and action for action. Never, ever trade action for words.”
Releasing Pollard to keep talks going is exactly that: Trading action for words.
This is evil.
Not as evil as releasing hundred more murdering terrorists with blood dripping from their finger.
EVERYTHING obama does either:
a) Weakens America/AmericansI have yet to have anyone raise a single substantive counter example in several years of posting this.
b) Distances America's allies
c) Strengthens America's enemies
d) Serves Islam
e) Harms Israel
Or some combination of the above.
It weakens America. It proves to the world our system of justice can be nullified at the whim of a corruptocrat. And that our laws are anything but set in stone.
Jerusalem Post said a few minutes ago nothing is yet agreed to concerning Pollard and extending the peace talks.
About time - this guy was thrown down the rabbit hole ‘cause no one in the US or Israel wanted him alive or free. He’s 5x what he should have. When Chinese or Russians get caught we just return them no crime or trial. If you look into his story he spent years and years in solitary and was treated way harsher commensurate with others. We don’t know what exactly he gave to our ally Israel - told it was buckets worth -??? We we’re supposed to be sharing anyhow. Personally I believe it was information regarding illegal activity by both the US and Israel and that’s why Peres and the Americans were ready to lock this guy up for life.
I get people’s knee jerk reaction but there is more to this story than what has been made public or just hang him from a rope narrative.
Forgot to add that what is going to be disastrous is what Israel gives up or concedes to regarding their borders or peace plan that the US is pushing. With the Blood Moons this and next year war will inevitably be the outcome and the US will will not be blessed but further cursed; so in that sense this move still abets the Treasonous one’s agenda squatting in the White House.
Disagree. Check out the testimony of Secretary of State Casper Weinberger and countless others and you will see the enormous amount of damage he caused American national security (not to mention the people he got killed when the Israelis sold the information to the Soviet Union).
To me, the worst aspect of all this was even after Pollard was caught, the Israeli government lied to the United States for a decade about its involvement, before finally having to admit in the late 1990’s that Pollard was indeed their agent working on their behalf.
I don’t care who it is, it is awful to be treated this way by an ally.
When we catch Chinese or Russian or whatever citizens who are employed by their home countriesas spies against these United States, we may imprison them, or PNG and deport them, or attempt to subvert them. When American Citizens spy against these United States for some foreign power, we throw the book at them.
Pollard was an American Citizen, employed as an intelligence analyst by the US Navy, which granted him a security clearance. POLLARD BETRAYED THESE UNITED STATES, of which he is a citizen and which entrusted him with sensitive information. Pollard is a liar, and a betrayer, and he should rot in prison.
The Pollard Fan Club disgusts me even more than 0bama. Why don't you whine for Aldrich Ames to be released, too? Might as well ... they're the same brand of foul traitor.
