Amazing how swiftly they were able to destroy the notion of ‘private property.’

I don't know - maybe you know more about this case than I do. Please tell me when this land was owned privately? This case confuses me - it looks like the land was always federal land. The west was settled, after all, by the federal government granting land for free to hard-working farmers. I don't know when this particular land passed in to the federal government's hands. I'm not sure how this is a "private property" case. Thanks.

If the Feds would only treat illegal immigrants as aggressively as they treat this rancher, our illegal immigration problem would disappear. I don't know if the rancher is right but I do object to the tactics of the government.
