This weekend, the University welcomed mothers from all over to celebrate Moms Weekend.
...
While the daytime activities are innocent enough, when the sun sets over Champaign, the scene of Moms Weekend changes completely, as moms who have not been out in 10 years begin to roam the streets with their children in hopes of a reliving their college days.
Similar to Dads Weekend, students often take the weekend with their moms as an opportunity to show them how they really spend their weekends: When students arent exclusively at the library during the weekend, the local bars on campus are a popular alternative. And by local bars, I mean KAMS.
Little did you know that while you were singing along to Dont Stop Believing with your mom on the KAMS dance floor, a dangerous predator was on the loose waiting to pounce. Those of us who have experienced Moms Weekend before may know this predator all too well the frat star whose main objective and purpose in life is to hit on moms.
In case you dont want the guy sitting on his balcony wearing a snap back and drinking a Natty Ice to be your new stepdad, listen up because your mother may have fallen victim to his mischievous ways.

When and why did they start having separate weekends for mothers and fathers?
Now we know the why. The when started when then they found they could get away with it.
I think I know why. I think it has its roots in Feminism.
According to the tenants of that “religion”, women can do everything as well as a man can. And that means EVERYTHING.
Sadly, that also means being a violent, stupid, inconsiderate, morality-lacking degenerate.
As a man, I try to be a better person. It is a constant battle in my life. I fall prey to various negative things, I drink too much, feel lust, swear, be aggressive, etc. While that doesn’t mean I don’t strive to improve, it seems to be the natural state of affairs sometimes that makes me display poor judgement.
But what I see in many young women seems to be the moral equivalent of “I can pee while standing up” kind of thing. They seem to take pride in the degeneracy.
As a man, one of the things I have always admired about women is their civilizing effect on many men, and the influence they have in making them “want to be a better person”. I know I have felt that way towards many women in my life.
But I don’t think I see that in many younger women, and that seems like a loss for all of us. That probably makes me sound like a sexist, but...I do place many women on a pedestal, and not because I view them as sexual objects. I do it because I think, in some ways, they DO make me want to strive to be better, and I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Just my two cents.
What are you doing, rhyming at this hour?
“Women today dress as sluts and act like sluts...as a female, Im disgusted and angry that women have sunk so low. Theyre so foolish and they fail to understand that the woman sets the tone, and if she looks and behaves like a slut, shes going to be treated as one.”
I think some women tried the womens’ lib thing, hated being worked to death like a man, and are now content to simply be a toy for men (as a career move). I work with women (not even necessarily attractive ones) who have vague job titles, no clearly defined responsibilities or performance meterics, who share the common trait of dressing like prostitutes. Men in high positions pay them as entertainment; there is no other explanation.
It gets really creepy as those women near 60, and dress even more desperately...
Deer Season.
This is the student run newspaper we used to call the Daily Idiot.
“When and why did they start having separate weekends for mothers and fathers?”
More than half of marriages end in divorce and single motherhood is very common.
The married family is no longer the norm so expect to see more things like this
But single mothers can’t attend a plain old parents weekend?
Are these weekends just for parents who aren’t married?
hehe
I worked with some black guys in Minneapolis who saved up money for the opening of deer season and walleye season. They wanted to be flush when they hit on the deer- and walleye-widows who have girls-nights-out when the men are ‘up north’.
Sounds a whole lot like the Roman Empire in spiral down mode. American morals have been on decline for some time and I blame that clearly on removing religion and God from our daily lives, in our schools and elsewhere. Who is to blame for allowing that to have happened? We all are.
If society “accepts” the acts of these so called “women”, nothing will change. Shun them and things MAY just change.

My first wife made it 35 year’s, my second wife loves to hunt and fish, I don’t go without her.
If the "Moms" are hot enough to garner the interest of college boys, why aren't their husbands taking care of business at home?
Much like a cheating husband, why isn't the wife taking care of business at home?
A flashlight with drained batteries doesn't shine.
Article author, Kate Cullen, is a not-that-hot senior who is probably upset that her mom was considered hotter than her.
From this, I took away a delicious morsel
“things take a turn for the creepy”
Indeed...they usually do.
How wonderfully lyrical.
Yup. Makes the story worthless. I still don’t know what a “KAM” is. “Krannert Art Museum?” “Kentucky Association of Manufacturers?”
I knew you’d find ~something~.
Could almost be a Cooper song.
It was a pearl amongst the pigs.
