Where in the -hell- is ‘medical hashish’ legal???
I don’t know about “medical hashish”, but hash oil is okay in Washington state. The stater will certify you to manufacture is as long as you’re “safe”.
By “safe”, I mean that the processor who extracts the hash oil from the clippings has been state-certified that they use a ‘closed-loop’ system which bathes the marijuana clippings in butane and thus extracts the oil. It isn’t cheap to get the kind of machinery needed for a closed-loop system. A lot of people who try to extract hash oil do so using home-made “open” (as in ‘open to the air’) methods. Butane....highly flammable, as you know....doesn’t get properly vented, gets ignited by a spark from somewhere, and BLAMMO! Your house/garage/apartment just blew up.
Hash oil is then dried until it becomes an amber-like substance which is then vaporized and inhaled. The vapors are MUCH more potent than smoking marijuana leaves, and the carcinogenic effects of marijuana smoke are greatly reduced, if not eliminated.
In twenty states plus the District of Columbia. Not to mention Colorado and Washington State, where non-medical (recreational) marijuana is legal.
