I agree with you that just because someone says it’s happened with other photos doesn’t mean we should believe them. But watch any old movie an you’ll see film grain. Also, why would a light stop all of a sudden after reaching a certain height, instead of fading out gradually?

Actually, from this angle, you wouldn’t be able to see
LIGHT unless it was reflecting off of dust or something
in the atmosphere. Now maybe there is only dust four feet
from the ground or so.
Interesting phenom, you’d think NASA would steer the
rover a little closer for a better look.
