The Old Cold War mentality is behind this name calling......there are several High Officials in our military that have commented, in speeches and otherwise, that this Cold War mentality is creating major problems in communications and not helpful..... So it's no wonder we see this happening here on FR.

It's nonsense to talk of the Cold War....it was a bi-polar system in a different world than there is today. Russia is not the Soviet Union nor does it aspire to be that. Rather, it believes in traditional Geo-Politics.....The USA and Russia are operating today with the idea ‘Respect through Strength’....seeing the US operate in Libya, Syria, Egypt and the ME attests to this.....
