55 years ago we used to stand VWs on their nose against a parking meter and their backends in the air against a utility pole.

Hey, I heard back in the 50s some of my classmates used to move Volkwagens to unusual parking spots, like on the lawn, or on the sidewalk...never heard of ‘em tipping them or doing damage though.
