In response to claims by the Ukraine government (and the west) that Russia provoking trouble in Eastern Europe - with The White House's Jary Carney even suggesting that pro-Russia demonstrators were paid - Russia's foreign ministry has responded. Posting via their Facebook page, Russia urged Ukraine to halt any interior military preparations which could instigate a civil war. But the kicker, for which we anxiously await a rebuttal, is Russia's comment that they "are particularly concerned that the operation involves some 150 American mercenaries."

The Ukes are most likely hiring US private security agencies for protection and training of their own de-russified security forces. The difference being that they are employed and paid by the Ukrainians whereas the Russian agitators are employed and paid by Moscow. US contractors are not US govt. agents whereas Russians in Ukraine are Russian agents.

No question the US gov. has been destabilizing Ukraine. The question is whether you think it was a good decision or not.
You can’t extensively back protests that overthrew a democratically elected government and say you didn’t destabilize. These people were recorded choosing the the unelected “interim president” before the coup, and lo and behold...guess who it was?
I lean on the side that this was a boneheaded move to make based on past Russian behavior. Our leaders have to work with the world they are given. We can’t pursue policies that predictably backfire and then blame some dastardly foreign tyrant as if it were his job to make sure US policy achieves its objectives.

Russia names them on their Official Gov. site... and their Unit.... as coming from the USA working with Keiv forces.
I suppose this might be the “Support” the US promised in assisting Keive’s own special forces....keeps US troops off their soil.

What you wrote might be so, but a huge distraction could occupy Israel's fleet.... As mentioned, my concern is something that's seen ‘way down’ the road as resources (oil) becomes more depleted in Saudi...they know it won't flow forever. And as China and other third world countries develop and require more resources.
Hey I was watching a video just yesterday of Siberia 'gold' mines opening back up as they've developed a means of extracting that which was left (gold dust like)..... as well as the fracking...nice you referenced that. Siberia is hopping now with all the plans for there....Putin isn't letting any grass grow under his feet despite the situation in Ukraine.
