In response to claims by the Ukraine government (and the west) that Russia provoking trouble in Eastern Europe - with The White House's Jary Carney even suggesting that pro-Russia demonstrators were paid - Russia's foreign ministry has responded. Posting via their Facebook page, Russia urged Ukraine to halt any interior military preparations which could instigate a civil war. But the kicker, for which we anxiously await a rebuttal, is Russia's comment that they "are particularly concerned that the operation involves some 150 American mercenaries."

I did. I tried to get an explanation of Ukrainian factions and parliamentary procedures from an expert here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3142076/posts?page=39#39 but we seem to be having a failure to communicate.
Well, I’ve been known to post speculation now and then. :-)
Seriously, Israel’s air power and competence in such is what would doom a direct Russian effort there, unless Russia truly went all out (short of nukes). Russia just has no reason to do so: It would be far less costly and more profitable in the end to develop their own huge shale deposits.
There is SO much shale oil and gas out there, that “peak oil” (and gas) can, I think, be safely put off until around 2100. IF then — by 2100 one would surely think humans could develop practical alternatives.
Incidentally, I just learned that China has the largest known shale gas deposits of all, tho’ they may be hard to retrieve.
"Montenegro is ready to meet all NATO standards. ..... US and Europe need to pay attention to completing Euroatlantic 'integration'"
"Strategic response to Ukraine crisis: .....host next ally Montenegro... key ally Turkey...., brief NATO.
Ukraine crisis is a warning that Euroatlantic 'integration' not be taken for granted..... US role is vital.... now more then ever important West gets its responses right regarding united Europe.

These guys work behind the scenes setting things up....their Global Agenda ....here's the plan....Note the extraction of revenue from the private sector "the crowd"...this is what is going on and they have little regard for peoples lives in these matters...it's simply keep their ball rolling for the Integration of Nations
Global Summit coming up April 9, 2014
The Summit will focus on three broad topics:
1. Examining megatrends that will exert a strong influence on the evolution of the global economy over the next 20 to 30 years;
2. 'Developing a robust financial system' that can 'move private sector money from the crowd,...... to where it is needed to finance commercially viable enterprises and projects;
3. Fostering new business models for deploying technology, products, and services from where they have been invented and deployed initially to new markets where they can be used to exploit opportunities generated by global mega-trends.
