"People with these degrees get recruited HARD and nearly always have jobs waiting for them before they have even graduated."

I've a friend who has a younger brother who went to college and became some sort of medical technician. He operates some kind of complicated machine.

He is always getting some further certification in running these machines and any new ones that come in to the market. The last Hospital/clinic that successfully recruited him not only give him a really good salary they give him a friking house. Deal is he has to stay working with them for x number of years and then he gets to keep the house forever even if he moves on to another job and it was only like 8 years or so. And it was a nice place in a good neighborhood even had a pool and hot tub with it.

I wonder how lucrative the medical industry will be in a few years. After Obamacare kicks in in full force.

As the feds force us towards a single payer system, they will be trying to drive costs down at the expense of quality and availability.
