What prompted the 4/3/2014 thread (3 days ago) here at FR that reads “Ann Coulter: Mitt Romney in 2016” in the Front Page News section?
No Red Herrings, please, and no Ad Hominem directede against me. They both distract from what we need to be talking about.

I don't get it.
See, the way it works is we are all supposed to get together and heap praise of talking heads who oppose everything we claim to believe in. That way when the election is 2 weeks away, we can feel good about abandoning principle again, because those heroic tv and radio people agree with ‘us’. And SHIRLEY ‘we’ can’t all be wrong!
Then when the RINO loses again, we can blame people who refused to play along with the Alice in Wonderland delusion we collectively built to live in.
Think of it an an exercise in rank stupidity that plays out every couple years.

To your point though ... it boggles the mind. I wish I could find the exact quote from her book but I can’t. She wrote about how we lose EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. when we run a moderate and win when we run a conservative. Then she championed Christie and now Romney.
FWIW, I don’t think she seriously believes Romney will run again. I think she’s just being Ann, which is to say controversial.
