No thanks. I'll fight 'em 'til I die.
I don’t believe in evolution.
At all.
However, REvolution is another matter ...
Evolve? Adapt? Paul is using synonyms of “PROGRESS”. Rand Paul is evolving into a progressive.
Look what happened to our country when Barry decided to "evolve". Homofascists are everywhere! Loud too!
“No thanks. I’ll fight ‘em ‘til I die.”
+1 Sir!
Mr. Paul using Darwinesque language is a declaration of his enmity to conservatism and his preference for liberalism.
We are shrinking. Find a message that resonates, or keep on shrinking. Rand Paul is just pointing out that there are no other choices.
and FReepers tell me this guy should be our next President. He’s as nutty as his father. I’ve been trying to tell everybody the Nut did not fall far from the tree, but too many think his BS...., well maybe his BS IS that good.
The guy is a corkscrew.
“GROWING in office” —a very bad sign.
I see Paul Ryan II, here, so far.
Yes if that is what he means by “evolve” then I’m with you Jim. There is nothing conservative in being socially left nor is it “evolved”. It is a devolution into hedonism. The same ideas that feed into the “born this way” crap feed into the entitlement bs that grows government. Its an anti-free will impetus that justifies the social justice movement where government plays more the role of parent and I don’t need a bureaucrat mamma and daddy to make everything right for me.
That's kinda mean spirited.
I am a creationist. Not an evolutionist. It sounds like Rand Paul is channelling Jeb Bush and visa versa.
We now have the:
DEMS= Progressives
GOP= Group of other Progressives
No thanks!

...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.[Posted on 01/31/2013 5:08:50 PM PST by xzins]
As a younger person, i woukd say Paul has the right idea in terms of making his case in front of younger voters who are more inclined to be conservative economically and hate excess government control of their. His opposition to broad spectrum government surveillance has gotten his foot in the door with voters that Romney nor McCain made any effort in courting or even showed they had a clue on how to do so.
Given the choice between Paul trying to reduce overall government and Paul Ryan and his RINO-tastic budget that cuts nothing in reality, i would support Paul.
Thanks JimRob.
I personally like adapt, improvise and overcome much better.
Semper Fi, do or die!
I’ll be by your side...
No thanks. On second thought, Fight the marxist lovin’ bastards ‘till THEY die.
That would be because you personally are a liberal.
I think Paul is asking Republicans to take over the spot that the Democrats left when they moved further to the left.
