Vitali Klitschko is the closest thing, it appears likely that Poroshenko will be the new leader assuming Russia doesnt invade just prior to the elections.

There are no guarantees in life, but there was no upside for most of the people to have Ukraine continue to be a satellite of Russia. Just as with other former Soviet bloc nations, they want to set their own path, not what Russia has set for them.

Maybe Ukrainians are seeing what’s happening in Greece and realize they want no part of that?

Do Ukrainians really think the Germans and other EU bigshots are going to treat them as equals?
